The danger is that you might leave the print heads in their unparked 
position.  On my 3000, they only automatically return to their parked 
(i.e., sealed) position on the right side of the carriage after a 
certain amount of time.  If you turn the power off with the printer 
switch and they are not parked, they will return to their parked 
position.  If you kill the power elsewhere, they will not.
