Price of cartridges - was 750 cleaning cycles

I have a 740, which uses the same cartridges as the 760, 1160, etc. Out here in OZ, Epson cartridges retail for $58 each - that is $58 for a colour and another $58 for a black - $116 for a set, which is around $77 US at today's exchange rate. Occassionally they turn up on special for around $45 each and local Internet shopping sites usually have them around $40 each. Cheap compatibles are in the $25 range.

You guys don't realise how well off you are!

It's a pity so few US Internet shopping sites will ship to Australia - and those that do tend to charge as much for postage as they do for the product.
