A comment for Mitchell Hull and members of this group: After having been so confident about refilling my cartridges, I had a problem this morning. I could not get one to print a good nozzle check after about five clean cycles. So I pulled it out and refreshed the missing colors using Sergio's method, inserting the ink from the bottom exit hole until it appeared at the top vent hole. I reinstalled the cartridge without the tape over the exit holes, and after two cleaning cycles I was back in business. If you try this method, be sure to remove the needle from the syringe before placing it against the exit hole. I suppose that filling from the bottom forces trapped air up and out through the vent hole, but that's just my guess. I'm not an engineer. Lew Achen - Please turn off HTML mail features.
