If you have Photoshop set to "Convert to ..." automatically, it won't bug you. But, if you leave it set (in File->Color Settings->Profile Setup) to "Ask when opening", then it will tell you what the "from" is and ask if you want it converted or not. This is why most of the Photoshop gurus recommend leaving it set to "Ask when Opening", so that you know what's happening when you pull files in from other sources. (The above are the PS 5.5 menu items, although I recall them being pretty much the same for awhile). --Dave Cardinal http://www.cardinalphoto.com > Barbara > -- > > Barbara White Architectural Photography > http://www.barbarawhitephoto.com > - > ** Tips on Refilling, Refill Kits, Archival Ink, > Cartridges, Paper ** > ** Order On-Line http://www.missupply.com Save $$$$ ** > ** MIS ASSOCIATES, INC 800-445-8296 Kits Ship Free! ** > - Please turn off HTML mail features.
