plastic foam issue on refill

>From the chocolate company:

Thank everyone the amount of good information from this group is awesome.

One last question... I am still confused on the reason for the plastic foam
in the cart.
I see one person reduced the size of the foam inside. Can to much ink cause
enough pressure on the heads to stop them from working? Why not take out the
foam and fill it full with ink? I have pried off the top and then using a
hot glue gun resealed the top and it worked fine. When the foam is cut to
1/4 size if it is placed directly on the screen filter above the export hole
can it be filled with liquid ink right to the top.

We are printing over a 1000 pages a day some days and this ink information
has been great... again thanks to all.
