<x-flowed>Thanks Ian for all your help on soft proofing. I really hope this capability will become a well integrated part of THE NEXT version of Photoshop. I don't see how they can ignore soft proofing/profiling much longer. Anyway, your efforts and Andrew Rodney's are just great! Now, all I have to do - any pointers would really be appreciated - is figure out why I can't save the created profile - PS gives me an error message which says "file (or some word like that) not compatible with this version of Photoshop". This is in the final step, your step 15. I am using PS 5.5, on a Mac. Can I use *any* Epson/paper/ink profile - regardless of vintage? Or, are some ICC profiles *not* compatible with this procedure, and if so, how do I determine this compatibility? Other than the ERROR message noted above? >Earlier in the week I menentioned the use of Andrew Rodney's RGB >soft-profing Action. Some users who downloaded same found some >difficulty in undersatnding just what the the Action did, how it should >installed/run etc, and contacted me privatley for guidance. - ** Tips on Refilling, Refill Kits, Archival Ink, Cartridges, Paper ** ** Order On-Line http://www.missupply.com Save $$$$ ** ** MIS ASSOCIATES, INC 800-445-8296 Kits Ship Free! ** </x-flowed>
