Re: RGB Soft-proofing

<x-flowed>Thanks Ian for all your help on soft proofing. I really hope this
capability will become a well integrated part of THE NEXT version of
Photoshop. I don't see how they can ignore soft proofing/profiling
much longer. Anyway, your efforts and Andrew Rodney's are just great!

Now, all I have to do - any pointers would really be appreciated - is
figure out why I can't save the created profile - PS gives me an
error message which says "file (or some word like that) not
compatible with this version of Photoshop". This is in the final
step, your step 15. I am using PS 5.5, on a Mac.

Can I use *any* Epson/paper/ink profile - regardless of vintage? Or,
are some ICC profiles *not* compatible with this procedure, and if
so, how do I determine this compatibility? Other than the ERROR
message noted above?
