You can use a 3000 without knowing the answer to any of these questions, and 
you can use the 3000 to learn about these things (it comes with a free 
PostScript RIP of your very own, and worth just what you paid for it<G>). You 
will need to learn about profile creation packages like Wizi when you decide 
to use long life archival inks...
