OK, I hadn't done it quite that way... I did it from the normal Epson/print dialog that comes up when you print from Photoshop. >Have you gotten any good profiles working yet?? And how will we know when it is? !! A version number -- somewhere, anywhere -- would be nice. Like I said: Wizi clearly has restored the contrast to this otherwise "flat" paper, but there are some color shifts that I find bothersome. Shadows tend toward red, blues tend toward cyan. I've even managed to "tweak" the profile using the curves tool in Photoshop, with varying degrees of success. (You can apply an "inverse" correction to the upper half of the target, or a non-inverted correction to the IT-8 part. Both seem to do produce similar results.) I don't intend to use Wizi profiles with Epson inks/media -- I just don't think that combination needs any improvement at all from Wizi. In fact, that combination continues to be my reference. I've never seen any ink/paper combo produce a better print, with or without profiles. Epson ink on Epson Photo Paper. Gotta love it. Where I do want help from Wizi is with those paper/ink combinations that produce results markedly different from my "standard." That's why I chose the RedRiver paper as my first test case. rafe b. - Turn off HTML mail features. Keep quoted material short.
