There are numerous different "looks" that one can acheive by cross processing film. These depend on media, chemistry, lighting, exposure, and developement. I suggest you look at an image you like. Decide what makes it different from a normal image. Then using PS CC tools change your normal image to one with attributes you like. ie - Blue shadow/peach highlights, higher saturation/contrast.
