Another Dumb Gamma Question

Quiz:

Let's say some idiot created a whole slew of
images in Photoshop 4, on an uncalibrated
Wintel box, adjusting the brightness of
the images visually.

Let's say further that the RGB preferences
in PS4 were left at their factory default
values this whole time.

So you've got Photoshop (4) set internally for
a gamma of 1.8, on a system where the "native"
monitor gamma is 2.2.

What does this imply about the image files
produced on this rig? How would you expect
these files to print (with regard to brightness)
on a well-calibrated system?

The idiot eagerly awaits your learned responses...
