Novice Help

<x-flowed>Folks, I recently joined this list to learn where I could buy bulk ink 
refills for my Epson Stylus Pro.  And presumably learn about the 
ramifications of refilling cartridges.  This was prompted by the fact that 
MEI has bulk ink and cheapy cartridges for the Cannon and the HP, but not 
for Epson.

I still need this advice -- please!

But instead I find so much information and opinion that I feel swamped:
pigment v dye, profiles, curves, WiziWyg, Wilhelm, etc etc
I have no idea what you guys are talking about!!!

Would someone please steer me to a tutorial where I might learn enough at 
least to barely understand the issues here.  I can see that I will need to 
understand if I am to become competent, but now I am about to go down for 
the third time.
