As I recall, you are the list pharmacist? Or maybe there are one or two others For depression, I echo your comments about anxiety, in that paxil/prozac/etc don't make me feel euphoric or "high", the effect is much more subtle, in that it keeps me from feeling bad, and takes some time to take effect. I agree with and appreciate Mitch Valburg's other comments (snipped here) which should answer some other postees questions fairly well. Since part of this thread is now off topic, I won't have any further on-list comments on medication; anyone with questions should ask your doctor, and/or use an internet search engine (and hope you can filter out bad info there), and/or ask further medication questions off list. I will consider further on-list discussion as to whether those particular light sources which are optimal for viewing epson prints (or color calibrating them) also happen to be the ones which are optimal for treating seasonal depression, but there really isn't anything more I want say on that topic, unless anyone wishes to correct any mistatements of mine and set the record straight. But again, it would better to use a search engine with the terms "seasonal affective disorder", "SAD", "seasonal depression", etc. if you want more info. Off list discussion on SAD is welcome, but I am no expert. -- Ben Haskell - Turn off HTML mail features. Keep quoted material short.
