I have many options available for profileing scanners, monitors and printers, and find that SilverFast internal IT8 based profiling is at least as good as making a profile with a third party scanner profiling package. My only complaint is that to use the color management features with the software you currently need to scan to a low bit final file... for highbit results you have to scan raw. C.
