I've been using the Scitex ksmart printer target for testing and calibration on various printers including an Iris printer. The beauty of this target is that it is an eps file and it can be rendered in PS in the actual color space that you need or want to know about. Rendering in your chosen RGB space gives you a color/monitor reference. Rendering it with a CMYK profile show the shift to be expected, and printing it shows where the printer gambit actually is. Can't find where it came from just now . If interested just e-mail me. - Turn off HTML mail features. Keep quoted material short.
