EZColor + Epson 1200 Photo Scanner
Hi folks,
I have been "inkjetting" for a couple of weeks now using an Epson Photo 1200
printer. Like many others, I have a colour cast problem and have tried every
suggestion I could find on the Web. I am now convinced that I need a custom
profile but being (only) an amateur, unlike everyone else here who seems to
be professional, I am not willing to spend big bucks buying profiles.
It seems to me that a cost effective solution would be to buy EZColor and a
flatbed scanner like the Epson 1200 Photo. I can make use of the flatbed for
other things (I normally use a CanoScan 2710) and I will only need to spend
$249 on EZColor.
Can anyone tell me if EZColor produces decent profiles? Since I am only
doing this for my own amusement, I am not concerned about ultimate accuracy.
If EZColor can produce a profile that will make a step wedge print without
too much of a colour cast, I will be happy.
Thanks for your attention.
