Re: Wilhel'm 6 color bombshell!(was Silver Inks for the 1200?)
Andy. Not real surprising. I think we are all in for many bombshells
considering the flood of new inks and papers that hit the market this year.
Non of them with formal testing, but all claim to be "archival"
There has not been any official reports since Feb 99 reported so I'am sure
alot of us have been taken to the cleaners with super expensive inks and
papers. Should be very interesting and I'am sure the balace sheets of many
companys are at risk.

According to the recently released Wilhelm numbers, the 6 color Lyson inks
(which would probably encompass Fotonic) are given pitiful ratings on the
Epson 5000(similiar to 1200's setup) on two different papers. I didn't
check if the new data was posted on wilhelm-research.com, but I'd check
this out before investing in that inkset.
I can already hear fellow injet lister's jaws dropping! Mine did.
