Jan. I read the list daily and I do not recall anything other than wishful thinking on a replacement for the 3000. Why would the Epson Staff @ a large trade show in New York("marketing arm") know nothing about it? Since when was the 3000 discontinued? How about filling us in on your sources for this new product? The stuff in Japan said nothing of any new printer that would do Large 3000 type prints. I have found no one who will confirm a "new 3000 will be out in the spring" .At least not in this country(US) Why would John Ennis know that the 3000 has been replaced when the rest of the list and Epson NY, doesn't no either? excluding yourself (of course)! If I'am wrong about this, then Please flame away, everybody............. Just looking for the facts.... Steve M. When the 3000 became discontinued, that should have been a signal to those of us who have to have the best and latest printer. A new one will be out in the Spring and will feature (of course) new variable small-drop heads and a few other tricks having to do with six-color and CMYK. At least this is what Epson's marketing arm says.." Jan >> << john ennis wrote: > > I was there on Friday only. I had a disappointing visit to the Epson booth.
