Re: VERY Interesting Film Scanner Rumor

<x-flowed>Not chemically processed film as we know it today! There is no image
anything electronic - like a scanner - can see. Plus, there are a
variety of processing methods for conventional film, just to get an
image, let alone some electronic device somehow deduce what might be
there, all without destroying the image through some lazer, or other
radiated spectrum emission so that you would have nothing left when
the cartridge is withdrawn.

If the image is electronically inscribed, then why would it need to
go through a scanner - if it is already digitally encoded?

Mike, I am afraid I need just a little more technical stuff to give
this even a remote chance of reaching fruition.
