Are these vertical lines of ink (with spacings of about 1 cm), or
impressions in the paper (which are called pizza roller lines on this
list, look up http://come.to/digitaldarkroom).

Vertical lines of ink may be from dirty rubber rollers. There are two
sets of rollers, one before and one after the printing area, which could
be cleaned with moist Q-tips or towels.
