>>> <Sdmey4@aol.com> 22/10/99 5:32:52 >>> Its pretty well established the the 6 color printers will have prints that shift in color before the 4 color prints. Nobody ever talks about the Epson 740. This is a 4 color printer but it has small and Varible picoliter ink drop. Its limit is 8x10 but the look as good as any 6 color print. Anybody using the 740? Steve M. <<<<<<<<<< Yes, I'm using a 740 - and I'm thrilled with the quality of the prints. And the new model (760) should be even better because the minimum dot size is even smaller. I should be getting commission from Epson because several people I work with have bought the printer as a result of my experiences. I have not seen any fade in any of my pictures in the 9 months I've been using it, except a couple I placed in direct sunlight to see what would happen. This is with Epson Photo paper and Epson or compatible cartridges. David. - Turn off HTML mail features. Keep quoted material short.
