Thanks for all the suggestions.

None of thewm worked. I don't go into the custom settings, ColorSync or the
custom settings in the Print dialog, except for the "Media Type" and the
Quality/Speed switch. The only change I've made is to install Canvas 6. I can't
really afford to install new ink carts but, does anyone think that might help?
I'm really in a bind here, my daughter is needing to print her homework soon.
