Epson 3000 cartridge capacity?

I have done some refilling using MIS instructions and ink, but having
looked around the Net a bit, I find some disagreement about the
capacity of Epson 3000 (and 5000, I assume) ink cartridges. MIS says
they are 96cc while another supplier's instructions are 110cc. That's a
fair difference!

Now, I believe that overfilling is not good for any cart because it
invites leakage, but wouldn't UNDERfilling create possible problems,
too, like air in the line? So, (finally) my question: what is the true
capacity of an Epson 3000 ink cart?
