I am guessing ED stands for Error Diffusion (Dithering that is.) I'll never
forget my disappointment when I first realized the Epson NT driver for the
Stylus Pro could not do ED. Still this is how we learn to check for these
important little features in new products.

I'm at a  loss for the meaning of ED, but the answer is likely to be the
same
