1200 vs. 3000 -- Again

Hey, Gang,

I'm trying really hard to decide which
of these two models to buy next: 1200
or 3000. My "business" is picking up,
and I'd really like to offer prints
larger than my little 700 can make.
Plus, I think it's time to get serious
about archival inks and papers.

Here's how it stacks up for me:

1200
* new, high-tech, best print quality
* limited range of papers, paper size
* more delicate (?)
* more expensive to run
* lower initial cost
* no archival inks, yet

3000
* old, low-tech printheads, two
  generations behind the 1200
* rugged
* cheaper to run, higher initial cost
* lots of choices for inks & paper
* archival inks available

Have I missed anything?

One more thought: given the age of
the 3000 (in terms of design) what are
the odds that it will be superceded by
a new/improved model in the near future?

How about new vs. refurb? If a new 3000
is $1100, and a refurb is $850, why go for
the refurb?
