Photographers and artists get so hung up on cost they forget to charge enough for their work. I had a teacher/employer a long time ago that preached long and hard that he wanted an employee who understood business first and he would teach them how to be a photographer second. This always stuck with me. You have to charge enough for your work so that you can use the most expensive tools available to you and still be able to go on vacation anytime you want.
