epson 900 and archival inks

Has anyone run Lysonic inks through the Epson 900?  Virgin cartridges and
bulk Lyson inks are available from WeInk, although they don't (yet?)
recommend doing so.  Their tech support response was, "At this time the
Endura LE inks have not been qualified for use in the Epson Stylus Color
900 printers in regards to color matching. At this time we can not
recommend the use of the EIE3000 Endura inks in the Epson Stylus Color
900."  

Notice that color matching is the only rationale given.  Anyone tried this?
