I too live in Europe, in the very far north of Norway. I posted a message on this thread earlier, but forgot to mention that I am very interested to participate. The traveling portfolio is a great idea, and as I see it, it is the paper prints that are the important thing to see (and feel), and not a jpeg copy of the print. I am participating in a print swap group among a few pinhole photographers all around the world. The first swap has not started yet, but is planned to September 1. I will then have to send 1 print to each of the participants in the swap group, and hopefully receive one print from each of the others. This will cost a bit, but I feel it is worth it. Of course the group must not be to big, the pinhole group are 18 persons, and that is enough, i think. I would be very interested to participate in the traveling portfolio as well, but I like the idea of the print swap better. I have tried different traveling letter books, but they always stops somewhere in the line, and after a while dissapears from (someones) memory. There is a danger that this also can happen to the traveling portfolio. Any other thoughts on this?
