1. Turn on the printer.
2. Open the ink cartridge compartment door. 
3. Remove the ink cartridges.
4. Turn off the printer. Leave it off for about 10 seconds.
5. Turn on the printer.
6. Install the ink cartridges.
7. Allow the printer to charge the ink delivery system.
