To all: I am currently in the process of switching to Fotonic inks in the epson 3000 printer. I have removed the epson cartridges, and installed the cleaning cartridges. When I closed the ink door, the printer did NOT run the 10 minute cleaning /charging cycle that I thought it was supposed to do. I have started printing the cyan ink, and have several sheets of full cyan now. Also, there is big black ink puddles scattered all across the paper. Is this normal? It is coming out of the printer with the wet black ink puddles. How many sheets of letter size paper does it take to purge the inks? Would appreciate it if anyone is on line now, to answer right away. Its 3:15 P.M. Central time now. Thanks guys. Jerry - Please do not include an entire message in your response.
