Diane:

I have had no problems mounting Epson's Photo Paper or Konica QP using
Colormount. I have never liked the behavior of the Kodak papers with Epson
inks, so have never tried mounting them. I have mounted several other papers
with no problems, but you should not try the Canon or Epson Glossy Films if I
remember correctly. They just don't 'stick'.

The Kodak papers do not seem to me to absorb Epson inks well, so I would guess
that this is what you are seeing...ink that simply stays on the paper surface,
then transfers in part to the release paper.

Try some Epson Photo Paper just to verify my experience. I have prints hanging
all over the house testing 'fade' from mounting or laminating...some behind
glass, some not.
