Well at the last Seybold (desktop publishing conf) I was reserching archival
solutions and printers to go with them. At a number of places I was told to
avoid the 5000, that it was "over-priced". 

I do have NT. It was one of the reasons I choose Epson, they have a full
range of drivers for NT. FOr what it's worth I've not had any problems
at all with my EX and NT. I've printed files as large as 135 MB. However, I do
have 512 mb of memory, and 150 mb of pagefile.
