I recognize your position and validity as a digital artist - and thank you 
for explaining that you do not fall within the group I am seeking.  

I'm still curious if there are digital artists, who use the Epsons - who DO 
NOT do what you do.  I'm not making value judgments - I'm just making a 
curious inquiry to determine if there are any digital artists reading this 
particular list who do not ever use scanned images of any kind in their 
digital originals.  Not because I believe it's wrong to do so - I'm simply 
trying to discover if there are any other animals in this jungle like me
