Please review this: *Ref: Newbie, Ciba-oriented art photographer (>20yrs). Mac7100/66+G3.OS8.5. PS-5.0.2. Monitor NEC MultiSync-750. calib'd per Adobe Gamma and mfr's phosphor and WPt (9300K) info. Gamma 2.2. Colorsync 2.6.1 Epson SP-1200/5.60E. S041141, ink OEM (for a while. while training). *Image: surrealistic painterly landscape, containing all colors of the rainbow (colorful tree reflections in pond). Monitor image - gorgeous. Print: blues turned to cyan, green to brown. Somewhat darker than original. Not even nerar the monitor's colors. *Monitor: 17" NEC Multisync P750. Phorsphor and WPt data received from NEC, on request, used it to cal crt. Goes under name NEC-750 now, in Colorsync's monitor profiles listings. *Overall settings: Colorsync: Sys Pro: NEC-750. RGB=CMYK defaults: ask. CMMpreferred: automatic. PS5>color s.>RGB=Primaries: Adobe RGB(1998). WPt: 6500K (D65). DUMC=on. PgSetup: Options>custom>Media::PhotoQualityInkJet pazper (oem S041141), oem inks (T001011 color; S020187 black). Res. Photo720; mW on, HS off, no W/mark. Advanced: error diffusion; colorsync; Epson Standard, Perceptual. Print: space: RGB Color, PCM on (and tried also off: no difference). How to balance the scale?
