Jerry I don't know who sent your prints but you are wrong about archival inks. I have used archival inks that have been ready for artists. Get a copy of Decor Magazine and count the ads of professional houses producing giclee prints. If the archival inks were not ready for artists I can absolutely guarantee you they would not be advertising fine art reproductions. I think you got a bad batch of prints. Send me you mailing address off-line and ask for some printed samples using archival inks. I'll send you some that proves archival inks are good.
