I've read a lot of reviews stating that the HP printers were better at text than the 
Epsons. So if you print lot of text get an HP, but if you want better pictures, 
get an Epson... Further, the HP is a brand which was mainly sold for offices 
for a long time, so no surprise if they care for good text rendering.. 

BTW : what is the difference between legibility and readability ?
