Adobe RGB 1998 is a color space and not a profile. A color space defines the gamut you are working in, a profile defines the color characteristic of an output (such as a monitor or printer). Therefore you may be working in a colorspace that is bigger than the color profile of your display or vice versa (like sRGB, ugh). But that's okay. To find Adobe RGB 1998 you need to download the 5.02 update from the adobe website, install it and go into your RGB preferences and it should be there. Only profiles are stored in the ICC colorsync folder. There you can find generic profiles for diferrent output mediums. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Please: Stay on topic.
