Lysonic ink for the 740

As far as I know, Lyson does not make Lysonic ink cartridges for the Epson
740. But several people have mentioned that the Epson OEM cartridges for
the Epson 800/850/1520 (#S020089 and #S020108) will work in the Epson 740.
Does anyone know if that is true?  If it is, then the Lysonic cartridges
for the 800/850/1520 would also work in the Epson 740.
