John, I personally welcome those with commercial interests to this forum. And many who fit that category currently are major contributors to the list. I think what David objected to (and so did I) was the tone of your post. "Tone" can be a hard thing to define. But your first post and this one assumes that we on the list are not familiar with Lyson's products. In fact, we are very familiar. If you seacrh the archives, you will find the the Fontonic inks have been discussed a few times here in the forum. What we haven't yet seen is real results. Your first post just came off as blatant advertising with no real information we could digest. I for one would be very interested certain aspects of this ink. Namely: 1) I'd like to know if it's soluable with Epson OEM inks or do you have to flush your ink delivery system before you use the ink? 2) When will these inks be available locally in the States? 3) Will Lyson sell filled cartridges or just bulk ink? 4) What's the availability status of the Quadtone inks? Answers to these questions would be very helpful. I'm sure others have different questions they'd like answered. I welcome your participation on the list. Help us decide which inks may be best for us by being a resource for honest answers about these inks. I think you will find that this list's membership is inclusive of many who are experts in the area of digital printing. So be prepared for some potentially very technical questions. This is not a list for marketeers in my opinion. This is a list for people with experience in the real world use of these products. I'll be looking forwards to reading your answers. Welcome aboard. -- Mike Greer Come visit my web site on digital photography and other interesting topics at http://www.greer.simplenet.com .
