>Dear Mr Tobie, > >Thanks your message, you are right that a commercial >message has no place on a newsgroup - I should not >have placed any sales information within my message >- For that I apologise. I am late on this one, so forgive me if I am off-base. I think that I am way off with the following... A couple of months ago MediaStreet poked into this newsgroup with an offer for a free sample package. It was blatantly commercial, but so many other companies, such as Weber-Valentine & Bulldog, do the same I just considered it the price you pay for this list. I sent away for the sample and now have a great source for matte paper and can recommend the same to my clients. Be thankful for small commercial favors. I am ambivalent about advertising, but this particular example surely helped me. Sometimes advertising crosses the line and you can feel taken advantage. Other times you feel thankful that the information reached your desk. ***************************************** Ken Rubin Garden Wall Graphics Struggling Epsonologist -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Please: Stay on topic.
