Well said, Cathy. Russel, to me you sound like a person who cares about his subject and wants to help others. I'm also incredibly grateful. To date I've not yet got a print acceptably close to what's on my (Adobe Gamma calibrated) monitor but with each attempt it gets better. (1200, Win 98, 5.02, iiyama pro 17). I guess the main problem is that there are SO MANY variables! It's frustrating that what seems to work for some cannot be applied universally - I've tried every suggestion and none is close enough for me. But what's hopeful is that so many of us are trying. I hope the noise we're making gets through to manufacturers and software people. > Date: Thu, 24 Jun 1999 15:03:28 -0700 > From: Cathy Brown <catbrown@cwix.com> > Subject: RE: Settings in PhotoShop - an Update > > Russell, don't worry about sounding terse or annoyed or anything of that > sort (the post didn't come off that way anyway), because I'm sure I speak > for all of us when I say I am extremely grateful for your participation. > > I will test your suggestions and report back. > > Thanks, > Cathy -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Please: Stay on topic.
