Well, I blew it this time. I sure wish I had waited until tommorrow to
see the advice that all of you had to say about the canon 2710F
scanner.  I had heard good things about it, now about half a dozen of
you say its a terrible choice. 
The Polaroid sprintscan+ was my first choice, but NObody has it now. It
was discontinued 2 weeks ago. I can't afford the Nikon coolscan 2000 or
the Polaroid 4000. Nikon's software sucks worse than a sump pump. The
only other affordable one is the minolta and nobody seems to recommend
it either.

I'm on a Macintosh, remember.

I could possibly cancel the Canon If I called B&H first thing in the
morning. But if I can't locate a sprintscan +,  whats left?
