Have you seen the cartridge? thick plastic. How in the world would you
open it? Or do you just stick a needle somewhere into the cartridge? I
would actually consider driving to a short seminar on this, or for a
video or something. I really am a klutz when it comes to these things.
But if a refill kit was available, and it really wasn't that hard, I'd
sure try it.

Ok here goes... all the Epson cartridges I have seen use 2 vent holes at the
top.
This is the best place I have found to inject ink Hey you can do it
differently but for me these are the best areas for a lot of reasons I don't
want to get into right now
Once you have seen a 14 gage needle (real sharp) they go right into the thick
plastic case
into those vent holes.
I have a really great way to seal off the needles so you will not suck in
air this is real Inportant you will get a lot of banding unless you seal off
the cartridges.
I know what you mean about having only 2 hands a lot of refill kits out there
have given almost everyone 3 hands or so it seems if you try to follow the
directions given.
By just making a proper design not using what everyone else uses it is easy
to design a refill kit that can actaully be used by us 2 handers ..
I just wanted to let you know there are forces in this world working to get
this refilling thing to the point where you will say hey I can do that!
I think a CompUSA Or Frys store would be a great place to have a semiar. And
if you bring in a clogged up Epson printer you may win a free cleaning right
there in front of the folks!
We would demo refilling, and so could you, with water based food coloring so
you would not get ink stains on you but you could really try it right there!
Subjects covered would not just be about refilling how about:
1- How to make your own cleaning cartridges for free to save that $8,000a
gallon Epson ink
when you get that clog from hell. Epson tells you to just keep doing clean
cycles!
2- How to blow out the clog from hell you can do it right now never send
back a gunked up
printer to Epson for cleaning!
3- The proper way to store a printer Epson does not have a clue!
4-Tricks about printing full bleed photos right to the edge with no trimming
5- Cold lamination tricks that will make your photos look like the expensive
hot lamination
pro jobs. That's right not a sigle bubble or fold it is easy but all
the lamination instruction
on all the cold lamination sheets are totally ass backwards if you
follow them you will
make a mess !
6- How to read those nozzles test patterens to avoid unneeded extra clean
cycles!
7- What inks and papers really work in Epsons.
8- Maybe some sublimation stuff and Iron on tips too!
9-The poor mans photo shop hey not everyone needs PS when so many programs do
enough! Hey I like PS but come on for the masses of epson owners no way
So if you coud come in for free(?) on a week end or work night would you?
Hey I am working on it guys! Do I have any takers
