Neither of these strike me as sufficient reason not to get, and read, RealWorld Photoshop 5. Other books do not cover many of the vital and fundamental issues this book covers (even if it does so with a pre-press bias). Admittedly some masking techniques may be revised with PS5.5, but serious maskers are using a plug-in for that anyways. Web stuff will indeed change, but the web is not a major focus of RealWorldPS5. The basics of color management and an RGB workflow are what is most important here, and I see it covered in an updated manner in few other places. C.
