I would like to put my 800 on ethernet. Apparently there are three options from Epson: 1) The AXIS 1440. 2) The 10-BaseT card. 3) The 10/100-BaseT card. It is not clear whether the AXIS will work with the 800 (it lists the 850 as compatible and I didn't think there was much difference between the two, but...) Can anyone tell me what experience they've had with any of these? Is the 10/100 card much faster than the 10-only card (when using 100-BaseT). Is the AXIS 1440 too slow or not compatible with something (why is it $100+ cheaper than the Epson 10-BaseT card)? How do they all compare speed-wise to a straight Mac-serial connection?
