It looks like both., but adjusting in photoshop doesn't help, Compared
to the epson 3000, it STILL looks muddy.

It could indeed. I have never understood color management. However, when
I print the same image on the 3000 is is NOT gray or muddy.

Are the 1200's inks different?  It could be in the drivers too.

Does anyone else have this problem?
