I have had bad luck with pre-filled cartridges from any 3rd party
vendor for either the ESC740 or ESC800, including www.missupply.com,
www.weink.com, dataproducts, and a forgotten brand at office depot.
I believe that it is an "air-trapped-in-the-sponge-and-cartridge"
problem, not an ink problem per se. The problem is that many
cleaning cycles are required to prime the print head, both initially
and later. I presume that pre-filled cartridges for the ESC3000/5000
from any of these vendors will be OK. Centrifuging these 3rd party
pre-filled cartridges just before use may make them more reliable.
