Yes, I'm new to this, too. I have a Quadra 650 (with system 7.6.1) and the
Epson 600. I had problems like you've noted...until I increased my memory. I
started with 24 MB and now have 56 MB real RAM and about triple that with
virtual. I've had absolutely no problems since then. The same thing happend
on my Mac IIci before I increased the Ram on that. You may want to check on
the RAM requirements for the 600, and whatever's said there, you should tack
more RAM onto it, just for safety's sake.
