Joe: I have the 1200 and I'm using MIS inks. I can't find any paper that will print with this ink and I've tried a bunch including some of the rag papers! Concorde rag that produced stunning results with Epson inks is awlful with the MIS inks. On Luminos, Konica QP, Red River and others, the inks just smear off the surface. Ink bleeding is a real problem too. MIS is sending me some Weber Valentine paper, but I don't think the paper itself is archival, so... what's the point of using the ink?!! I've also had some banding problems as well. I'm wishing I would have bought the 3000 based on others sucess with this printer and archival inks. I love the printer, but not with MIS's inks!!

Regards.

Troy
