Dear list:
Saw this on the PDN New Products page - thought it might be of interest
to those of you interested in having waterproof prints.
HP Marketing, Inc. of Pine Brook, New Jersey, is offering users of
inkjet printers a fixing spray made by the Gepe
company that is said to make the prints from these
machines "totally immune to damage from water- either
sprayed on
or from immersion". Gepe Ink Jet Spray is available in
either a matte, semi-matte, or glossy form. The spray
comes in
10.1 ounce cans which HP notes will protect up to about 30
8.5 x 11 inch prints with variations depending on
the print
paper and spray technique. In addition, Gepe's formula
contains UV protective material to block the harmful
effects of
UV light. Telephone: (973) 808-9010.
