>I accomplish something similar to this by taping a couple of inches of >extra paper to the tail end of a trimmed 12" x 18" sheet of Weber-Valentine >JPG-170. This seems to trick the printer into printing on a longer piece of >paper. The trimmed width of approximately 11.8" is enough for 11" PLUS >Quark reg marks. The untrimmed length of 18" is obviously enough paper, but >you must get the Epson to print lower than .6" from edge. You will have to >experiment with page positioning in Quark. For the paper length you don't have to tape a couple inches to the tail end of the paper. Just use a custom-size that is equal to the size you want the actual printing to be plus the minimum top and bottom margins. The printer assumes you know how to measure the paper properly. I do this routinely for printing programs full bleed (or awfully close). Or am I missing something in the above? (I don't have Quark).
